Manic Monday!

Lar and I are having the downstairs painted. We are holed up in our sitting room near the painters. Our cats are locked upstairs in my office, and very unhappy with all of this. I have lots of time for tangling--woohoo! Here are the fruits of my labor thus far:

Joey challenged us with Verdigogh this week. I always think of rosemary sprigs when I draw this. This week's version pleased me as is--unadorned.

The Diva had us learning Maria's new tangle, Gourdgeous. I had given this a whirl when it first came out a couple weeks ago. It was hard for me, so I decided I didn't like it! But today, I tried again, and started to feel more comfortable.

So glad to have these to work on while the painters are here!

Thanks for stopping by! I always appreciate your comments! Have a great week.

  4. It is the smell from the paint that is the worst, it gives you headache. Great that you can tangle through it. Verigogh does look like rosemary and you have done a very delicate version of it, lovely. You certainly have got to grips with Gourdgeous, very good. I must practise more, maybe I can get it to look like yours

  10. Dear Jennifer, I love your tiles! You are right, Verdigogh reminds me to rosemary, as well. (I love rosemary!!!!)
Ans the DIVA tile with Gordgeous is lovely like all your tiles. Great shading, especially the right upper corner! Great idea.

  11. Nice job with both tiles. I think Verdigogh makes a lovely mono tangle. And I'm having similar issues with Gourdgeous, even though I like it. It really takes some repetition to get to the point where it feels comfortable.

    1. I agree. Maria says that when you learn a new tangle that's difficult, you should take at least 2 weeks to practice it! I get so distracted by all the OTHER new things that come out in our ZT world I often forget!

  13. Both are very nicely done. Your Gourdegeous tangles are very well done. I think this particular pattern needs time to grow on you and get comfortable with.

  14. I'm amazed how much it looks like rosemary rather than a fir sprig! Well done! Your gourdgeous is so lovely and shiny and I like the tangles you used with it!
