Joey's Weekly Challenge: R is for Rosewood

This is the fastest tile I've ever done, unless you consider the time I spent thinking about what to do with Rosewood. I was about to post a comment on Joey's page to say, "Hope you're feeling better. I'm under the weather, and don't think I'm up for this week." I even looked at the  other posts, where tanglers had beautifully realized some of the thoughts that ran through my mind this week. Not wanting to miss a challenge, I took a piece of card stock and a sepia pen. I was planning on making an actual Rosewood frame for a Bijou tile. However, once I got going, I really liked the white space made by my Bijou tile string!
Funny how things work out :)

  2. Love it! It looks like a wooden bowl sitting on the kitchen table, with a note to the kids left in it, from mom. And that bijou frame! I am SO going to do something like that! Good work

  3. Great thoughts about what to do with Rosewood, I love the negative space. The frame for a bijou tide is wonderful, I love the Diva dance used next to each other like that.
