Then these two, in an effort to zen out after some stressful home improvement involving winged mammals:
Today, I had time to finally sit down and do Joey's Challenge #116. Having just one suggested tangle--Flux-- to use in the string made it really relaxing for me, as I just let it happen. I had no expectations when I started, and really had the notion that tangles are used to fill spaces, like colors do. Thanks, Joey!
Many thanks for your visit! I'm still catching up on my rounds to see your amazing work, which I always enjoy!
Beautiful work! I love the colors you used! My favorite is the tile for Joey's challenge!
ReplyDeletewow, Jennifer you did such great artwork!
ReplyDeleteI love the Ellish- Card , what a great idea to add the words beginning with letter L which are so important for our happieness!
The other tiles are great as well and the Flux challenge ist a highlight! I love how you combine both Flux versions and the tangelation with Mooka. The W2 in the center makes a powerful contrast. Very well done!!
What a beautiful Zendala, I love the change in flux types. Your little bird is so cut.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these, but my favorite is the one in all red/brown ink, with the verdigoh (that looks just like Lupine), and that cool new one that I can't remember the name...well, the piece looks like something a naturalist in the 19th century would have jotted down, out on a walk. The little breaks in your lines add SO MUCH interest! excellent work
