Our Continuing class at Southwest Regional recently had a lesson focused on creating a sampler tile with different ways to use auras as an embellishment. Here's my demo tile, followed by a "recipe" that we followed to create it.
Aura Sampler tile
- No corner dots, border
- Pick up your pencil. Make a random string or letter or shape in the center, about ⅙ of your tile.
- Trace it in pen. Aura the shape 3 times.
- Crescent Moon all around the shape on the outside. Aura 3 times.
- Thin aura
- Wide aura. Fill with Knightsbridge.
- Thin aura.
- Bunzo / striped aura.
- Thin aura.
- Printemps aura on one side. Perf aura on other side.
- Thin aura.
- Pokeleaf aura on one side. Bumper aura and bumpy aura on other side.
- Thin aura all around.
- Beveled aura with thin border.
- Mooka inside the central shape. Aura the Mooka, inside and out and fill with lines, orbs or ink.
