Diva's Weekly Challenge #239: Munchin on Black
Thanks, Laura, for this week's challenge to use Munchin, black on white. (I wholeheartedly concur with Laura about the black tiles. I have found that Strathmore Artagain black artist tiles give me a brighter look than the Zentangle paper, which just doesn't seem to like ink as much as its white counterpart.) I always enjoy the white GelliRoll pens, as they slooooooooooow me down. Munchin is simple and elegant. When I use it, I zen out :)
If you missed it, I highly recommend watching Molly's video, even if you know how to draw Munchin. There's a cool little tip about putting black ink on top of the white.
Thanks for stopping by!
Very, very nice....I like it!

DeleteOh Jennifer, what a clever idea to put it i n a spiral! I love this tile so much!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks so much, Simone! I'm glad you like it! I really appreciate your comments.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a newly discovered star sign, you know, Aries, Gemini, Munchin... I like the mix of precision lines and blurred shading - a really nice tile.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. It looks like a star hammock!
ReplyDeleteI love your spiral design, and also how your little black accents look like bats or birds flying across the moon!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Antonine!
